Hi!

Think of the macerator as a garbage disposal....it grinds stuff up. Fish scales, guts, ice etc.
Those Mercs are nice, wouldn't worry about disconnecting the oilers until they fail.

From the sound of things you got a pretty good deal. Keep us posted about the deck.

Jon, I use the uni knot for pretty much everything....it is strong. Practice tying the uni knot, then for joining lines, the double uni knot. It also works great for lines of different tests/diameters. It isn't mentioned in the diagram, but to complete the knot, moisten the two lines in the middle a...

The '04 was a good year, they had the '01-'02 tranny issues resolved by then. Have the same engine in a '03 Tahoe, 190,000 miles and doesn't use a drop of oil.

The Z-71 package makes a great tow vehicle.

Asking price would be high for here, but a different market.

Keep us posted :605_thumbs_up:

Typed the reply but when tried to post...the post went poof. So what the heck, here's the reply :605_thumbs_up: The old standby for local KM live bait fishing is 20 pound test mono. But we run topwater reels spooled with 15 or 17 and the downrigger rods with 20. The lighter line in theory offers les...

Think it's time we go outside the box and find Walt a nice truck. They are pretty reasonable around here. Walt, which brand, half ton, three quarter ton, 4wd, power, extended cab, crew cab, extended bed, leather, years, miles, budget etc. Have customers who own dealerships, and others in auto/ truck...

First off, as stated, I disagree with Pascoe on upper stability/ movement/chocks. Particularly in a heavy seaway as is the norm here, Cape Fear, Atlantic Ocean. You want the tank secured/ chocked down on the top. As per photo. Second....don't know how long you'll keep this boat. But if you'll follow...
