The reason Mayberry was so peaceful and quiet was because nobody was married. Andy, Aunt Bea, Barney, Floyd, Howard, Goober, Gomer, Sam, Earnest T Bass, Helen, Thelma Lou, Clara and, of course, Opie were all single. The only married person was Otis, and he stayed drunk.

Good stories there Brother Dave! Walt, it hit me last night that I misinformed you. The CCP with the twins (Yamaha 115's) was ACTUALLY a 250 CCP, not a 222 CCP. So I'm thinking you could run twin 90's or 115's. Would be really cool if you could find a pair of old Merc 3 or 4 cyls., 90 hp each to sta...

Sholcomb sir, how does that boat ride, perform with the 250, etc. There is one on Craigslist here, seems like a good price, have a friend looking a dual console somewhere around that size. Thanks!

Man that is what I'd do. Had a pair of 130 Yammies on the Pursuit and they purred like kittens. I don't think they were propped right tho, she should've run better, couldn't get her to 40. Yepper a good running pair of V-4 Yamahas and you'd be set. I'd avoid the old OMC's, they always seemed to have...

Congrats on the successful test. Finally off those damn horse meds down here and feeling a whole lot better. Forgot you had a CCP, much different animal than my 12 degree. Have been on quite a few 222 CCP's, most guys run single 200's. The only one have been on with twins ran 115 two stroke Yamahas....

Back in the office, thankful and glad to be here! Had twins on a 2470 Pursuit, loved them. Huge difference over a single. Not only are you getting home, but maneuverability at the dock is night and day. Spin it 360 in its own length. Makes even a dummy like me look decent. And when you troll, shut o...

Heck man I got away from trailer brakes a long time ago, they were nothing but a pain in the ass, always rusting out and locking up. Our area is flat as a pancake, so really no biggee not having brakes around here for a small boat. Our boys down in FL, different story. They have to run trailer brake...

Walt, if it is the classic slightly off-white, 99% sure it's gel. To confirm, take a real close look at any deep scratches, gouges etc. If it's gel it will be uniform in color thru to the underlying glass. Paint will show as a thin coating (you should see a little peeling where the surface tension h...
