Not only that there are still many people and business without cable, internet and phone service. Still seeing some gas st...

Boarding up the windows in the am. Gonna move the aquasports into my warehouse and workshop. Have the generator ready to go with plenty of fuel. Plenty of caned and dried goods, water, coleman fuel, dog food, cat food. Gonna hunker down. The big question is when and where this thing is gonna turn.

This is what I used to replace the fuel vent on my Explorer: http://www.duskyonline.com/50-23061-p-fuel-vents.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; The hole size is 1 3/8" diameter so I had to open up the hole (mine was 1" as well) a tad using a drill and grinding stone or sm...

Welcome aboard! I assume that hole is in the cabin floor. I belive that is where the bottom mount for the table upright should be. Under the cabin floor is bilge. So odds are your seeing bilge water. If the boat is on a trailer, you have to jack the bow up pretty high for that water to drain out the...

As most of you know the bottom end of a two strokes block is divided up into separate chambers for each cylinder. The intake charge of fuel/oil/air are drawn in thru these chambers. Excess oil will accumulate in the bottom of these chambers and is not burned. So there are small drain tubes that are ...

Welcome aboard!

Nice 200XF you have there! My first Aquasport was a 1981 200XF with a Mercury 200 2.5L on it. Good boat with lots of deck space for the size boat. Wheres your home port?

I think photo bucket really shot themselves in the foot. Who is gonna pay $400 a year to post pics in forums? I personally have countless posts on no less than ten forums going back years. To be honest PB was becoming useless as of late due to the massive amounts of ads that would slowdown my comput...

Looks like I have to do something about the broken photo bucket links.

There is a mooring mode that will let you temporarily get out of range without shutting down the motor. I think you do a long press on the FOB. Of course it works much better when you don't forget the FOB at home!

Sounds like the operator of the boat was very irresponsible and did several things wrong endangering not only his passengers but others on the lake. The first one of course is operating a boat while intoxicated. As someone who lost a family member to a drunk boater this one really strikes home. When...

Sweet. Now I don't feel bad about the windlass and all the gear to install it sitting in a box waiting to be installed on my Explorer.

I noticed all my photo bucket links are goofed up with a notice. If they start charging I'm not going back. Their website is too slow and wants to take over my browser anyways.
