Welcome aboard!

Nice 200XF you have there! My first Aquasport was a 1981 200XF with a Mercury 200 2.5L on it. Good boat with lots of deck space for the size boat. Wheres your home port?

I think photo bucket really shot themselves in the foot. Who is gonna pay $400 a year to post pics in forums? I personally have countless posts on no less than ten forums going back years. To be honest PB was becoming useless as of late due to the massive amounts of ads that would slowdown my comput...

I published a new website today for our custom canvas.

Looks like I have to do something about the broken photo bucket links.

There is a mooring mode that will let you temporarily get out of range without shutting down the motor. I think you do a long press on the FOB. Of course it works much better when you don't forget the FOB at home!

Sounds like the operator of the boat was very irresponsible and did several things wrong endangering not only his passengers but others on the lake. The first one of course is operating a boat while intoxicated. As someone who lost a family member to a drunk boater this one really strikes home. When...

Sweet. Now I don't feel bad about the windlass and all the gear to install it sitting in a box waiting to be installed on my Explorer.

I noticed all my photo bucket links are goofed up with a notice. If they start charging I'm not going back. Their website is too slow and wants to take over my browser anyways.

Keep in mind your max load is 8 people or 1200 lbs including gear, water, etc. Odds are you are running way overloaded. A Dolefin will not help with hole shot. Also it will make your lateral stability worse (think of a side to side teeter totter with the dolefin as the fulcrum). Remember one prop ma...

I wouldn't loose any sleep worrying about the oil injection system. It's hard to believe the amount of leftover mistrust and mistaken blame there is still around for oil injection systems. You still hear it today.. "my cousins outboard motor blew up. One of the pistons just melted, I told him n...

I have a roll of duct tape and zip ties on board but they won't fit in this small box. BTW knock on wood I haven't needed this kit on the water yet. Also the tools inside look just like the day I put them in there. So the little box is keeping them nice and dry. Edit: looking at the pic I think I ne...

Welcome to the club. Sorry to hear about your dads passing. That looks like a really nice rig. Get yourself a high speed buffer from Harbor Freight. Get a good wool pad for it and a quart or so of Aquabuff 2000. Scrub the oxidation off with some Bar Keepers Friend and a scotch bright pad. Then buff ...
