We all do, and she's a looker. My understanding is the 911 and derivatives prior to the latest gen body change are appreciating rapidly with high demand. Darn good investment.

Yes, they are. Most do not like the 991. The 997.2 is a great car. They can't keep these in stock at the dealer.

The "P" in P car could stand for a couple of things. Nice car!

Without question, Nando knows his stuff when it comes to P models. He is a collector and aficionado: buy, sell or trade. He has several pristine, high-end drivers in his stable. I was fortunate to see one....a gorgeous red number around thirty years old I'm guessing, absolutely flawless. Thing looked fast standing still. Only improvement would have been some front-end aerodynamic enhancement/fascia, but hey, a lot to be said for totally original too sFun_crazydance

Hi Dave, I hope all is well. No, not yet. The old 200 HP Johnson runs like a swiss watch. We did CDI power pack, CDI Stator, New coils, Plug wires, Plugs, Thermostats, Fuel pump, fuel hoses, oil hoses, filters, impeller, etc. We are going to run her this summer.

I have some time in Oct and Nov this year. Most likely, do a full rebuild on her. Strip her down, new foam, fuel tank, deck replacement, transom bracket, a pair of motors, etc.

I really like the way she rides and is working. I believe, we can make her better.

Good to hear from you,

B

Bryan that is cool man!! That was another hull on my dream boat list as a kid... I thought a pair of 115 Merc'a would be it... There was just something about the tower of power that was completely it for me then. We never owned them, the Old Man was all over OMC so they were always out of reach. With what you have done to the 200 though that is damn near a bread new engine!!

You done with shoreside renovations for a bit and have time to play on the water?

Dave, Yes, We have given her a few test runs, she feels really good. Most all issues are sorted out. A couple of small little issues. More like corrections, no big deal really. I am in AZ for a couple more days. The old 200hp really surprised us. The only issue was a little hard start when cold. The OB Guy installed new pulse hoses and a new valve on the primer system.
This motor runs better than most.

Take care,

Bryan
