Hello everyone, this winter I plan on having my entire boat ('03 Osprey 205) rewired. I'd like to have every single existing wire removed, my batteries and switch relocated from the starboard side of the transom to the center console, the VHF moved from the console to the t-top dry box, a macerator pump installed for the fish boxes (do I need one for each or can I get away with one and a t-fitting?), all switches and breakers replaced and individual switches installed for various lights the previous owner installed throughout the boat among other things.
I'm an ASE Master Technician and own an automotive repair shop but have zero experience in marine repair so I think I'll leave this up to an expert.
My question is, who?
I want this done right. The correct type and size of wire for a given circuit. Everything laid-out neatly and secure. I'd actually like a wiring diagram made so when the time for repair comes, I'll actually know which circuit is which.
I would love to hear that one of our members does this type of work, keep it in the family so to speak.
Recommendations will be greatly appreciated!

Not only is Bob the best man within a hundred miles...he's the best man within a thousand miles.

I'm from coastal Carolina, major boatbuilding region. No one here had the expertise to deliver the quality I was looking for.

850 miles one way. I'd do it again tomorrow. Superior work!

Yep Dave, 24 Pursuit. Almost all Pursuit's have hinged consoles (I've done a 24, 28, and 30). They're not bad, I kinda sit down behind there Indian-style, but there is a good bit of leaning over from the sides. As long as the sciatica isn't bothing me (knock on wood!), it's not bad... :605_thumbs_up:

Kinda interesting Bill...new copper is pricier, yet copper scrap has dropped dramatically. Nice little game the corps are playing...
