Sorry Walt can't help you with the dragonfly. Last year I was trying to decide between the Raymarine dragonfly and a Lowrance elite 7.
I ended up buying the Lowrance. I now wished I would have gone with Raymarine.
Not happy at all with Lowrance. My old X85 Lowrance was better fish finder then this damn thing.
I've tried to figure it out to no avail.
What ever you do don't buy a Lowrance elite 7 with chirp

Thanks Bill. I was looking at that unit, but was told to look at the dragonflies. Everything I've been able to find on them, talk about how easy they are to use. That's why I'm asking. I don't like complex. They Hurt my head just having to sCo_hmmthink.

Hey Corey yea Lowrance has been the unit I've always went to. I still have a 2330 flasher on my alum. Boat. Since it only gets used in water that averages 4ft deep, a flasher response faster then an any of the new units, since it doesn't have a processor. I also have used or have been on boats with all the other makes, but not a dragonfly. I'm just getting to the point where I want something that has good definition and is simple to use.
