The stereo as a whole sounds great. I just haven't been out on enough pleasure cruises to really enjoy it. My family and I are in Atlantic City for the week and I was planning on using the stereo a lot. But, it just didn't work out. I'm sure I'll be back at it next week.

Been a crazy day, took Marys car in to get worked on and ended up getting a 2013 chevy camero ss for a rental car, so I ended up doing some driving around having fun

I did manage to get the amp mounted and everything but the power to the amp wired, the lead I wanted to use is just to short so I'll pick one up tomorrow.

Nope, Josh didn't drive it yet, I will say it's a fun car to drive, lots of HP, 400 I think, but I have never driven a car with so many blind spots, my big ass truck is easier to park, but it is chevy after all

All done with the install, I thought these speakers sounded good off the head unit but with the amp hooked up OH MY, I highly recommend these speakers, for the money you just can't bet them, and with this combo no Sub needed, plenty of base, I actually had to adjust it down a bit, This Kenwood head unit is great but don't get it for the Android interface, their app only works on older phones but they sure as hell don't say that on the box, now for the pics

Excellent!! sHa_clap2 sHa_clap2 And you had room in the rod rack areas (depth) so no spacer required! :605_thumbs_up: :605_thumbs_up:

Glad you like the Infinitys. People will sit there and debate over the JLs, the Polk Audios, the Boses, when in reality, IMO, the Infinitys sound just as good, at a fraction of the price. As Scott found out, throw an amp into the mix and they sound awesome! sHa_woot sHa_woot

Very nice Scott! I'd be jealous but as I said, I couldn't beat free. One question, in the third pic, what are those group of wires for? That looks like the wire to my Raymarine A60 but mine is located above the wheel but I can't tell with yours.

Bob I had plenty of room in the racks when I measured it was a Good 6" and I only needed 3", Now I just have to get it on the water and see how it sounds, oh and get a cover for the head unit.

James the wires in the 3rd pic are for my VHF, the mount for it is just above that clam shell, and yes you can't beat free.

Just jumping in here. Read of the thread and really great ideas. I was disappointed my AS didn't come with a radio because it is a must for me. One of my first projects coming up is to redo my dash with starboard and I believe I'm going to put a fusion or JBL head unit in there (had the JBL on my last boat, round like a gauge and loved it). With that said I've been hesitant about routing wires all over the place and through about putting them on the sides of the console. The. I didn't want to cut holes. So I think I've decided on wake board speakers and mounting two 6x9 ones to my t top. I do t really care for Boss stuff but I'm not looking to drop a ton of money into music. The boss units will swivel and I can run the wires through the t top tubing into the console. Thoughts ?

Price is per speaker http://www.amazon.com/BOSS-MRWT69-550-w ... B000HBY8EQ

I primarily will be trolling so k can make the speakers rear facing but if at the island or something I can swivel them forward.
