Spotted what looks like a mid to late 80's 170 for sale today on Park Blvd in Pinellas Park. Had a sign on it for $2500. I would have snapped a pic but I didn't have time to turn around and get one. I'll go back when I have time and get some pics.

Notice the difference in how the sterns of those three Ospreys sit it in the water. The one with the twin 200's is sitting with the thru hulls WELL under the water line. The one with the twin 150s is sitting with about the lower third of the thru hulls under water. Of course the the single powered boat's thru hull is well ABOVE the water line.

Excellent observation. You also made good points elsewhere today on helping with the Explorer fuel tank install. Doubt the owner knew about a straight cut on the false hatch...or that the deck was balsa-cored and needed to be epoxy-filled around the edges once exposed.

Members helping members. Nice work today bud sHa_clap2

Speaking of draft and waterline, the waterline on this cat came up to just below the rubrail... sSc_eek

Jess, the 161 was about the ugliest little boat we ever made! Her big sister though, the 230, was a looker...

Went to the local sandbar Labor Day weekend. Counted 17 Aquasports, 18 if you count mine. Several 20's, a couple 230's, a few from the Genmar era and a sweeeet 230 cuddy. There's a 19-6, a rebuilt 22-2 and a few 170's. Aquasport is well represented in Fort Pierce.

That isn't good. I wonder what was up with the motor?

great pics. It's always a good feeling when you're driving along and you see an aquasport parked up somewhere.

That's a lot of weight back there to get those through-hulls that far under water!
