So, I couple of years ago, I installed a smaller fuel tank in my 210 Explorer, going from the 100 gallon down to about 55 gallons.

Still picking at the little things, I'm asking those of you that did similar projects, what did you do to correct the fuel gage? When my new 55 gallon tank is full, the gage reads, half full.

You have to change out the sender and make sure it is the correct ohms for you guage.

Oy...I installed the new sender that came with the tank. But I don't have any info on it. I'm guessing that I have an ohm-age issue. then. I'll have to dig into the back of the gage again. If I remember right, there's a switch back there to change the input ohms.

also some senders have to be adjusted so the float has full travel top to bottom of the tank.
