Hi guys, it has been awhile. I hope all are well. Scotty, great to talk to you the other day.
Well, I have been very busy, Building here in CA and in Maui. It has been a very busy year.

I picked up an old Mako 23 cc a couple weeks ago. She was out of Sacramento CA and is very solid.
A complete refit is in order, rewire, fittings fixtures, hatches, hydraulic steering, new LED lights, transom bracket. outboard, ETC.
I am excited about the build, I even pmed our resident Yoda for advice already.
She is a very solid hull, deck is solid as a rock, I really like the layout and the console layout.

I know how you guys like your boat porn, here are some photos.

Scotty, I am really excited about refitting her. She is very solid. Apparently, that Venom motor is a solid old motor. Out here they are sought after. Going to do some research on it?

I was wondering about how the the twin Fichts were doing and the transom mod to fill in the notch.

Bruce, It worked out really well. I was offered a crazy price for the AS. I decided to sell her. My biggest issue was she was a little big for me (solo) to run and dock her. (A 22 would have been perfect for me). The guy who bought her has a partner and they always fish together.
I am looking forward to this mako, she fits into the dock perfect.

Speaking of Makos, I saw a 80's 254 CC today when I was picking up a tire and rim for my trailer... good candidate for a restore.. been sitting...a while... T-top fabric was in rags... tires on aluminum trailer were shredded.. (nice beefy trailer too) had twin light blue faded out 200 Evinrudes on it.. cockpit was full of green stuff and leaves... Was a serious offshore boat in her day. Enclose the transom, hang on a bracket and a pair of 250s... that would be a sweet rig.
